“Suited for Success” Work Attire Drive and “Tools for Success” Technology Drive look to help those who are entering-or re-entering the workplace by offering them free professional attire and technology devices
ASTON, PA – The Neumann University Center for Leadership and Delaware County Chamber of Commerce today announced a joint clothing and technology drive in order to provide jobseekers in need with necessary items for interviews and future success in time for the holiday season.
The Work Attire Drive, or “Suited for Success,” seeks donations of gently used suits, bags, briefcases, and other clean professional work attire. The Technology Drive, also known as “Tools for Success,” accepts donations of iPads, tablets, and laptops that are 4 years old or newer and wiped clean of previous user data.
“Donations from these drives will benefit veterans, caregivers returning to work, returning citizens, students, and others who cannot afford appropriate professional attire needed for the hiring process,” said Danielle McNichol, General Counsel and Director of Center for Leadership at Neumann University. Our goal is to help job-seeking individuals begin their search for a new career with the basic necessary tools to succeed.”
Items can be brought to Neumann University on December 2nd and December 13th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Donation boxes can be found in the lobbies of the Mirenda Center, the Mullen Communication Center/Bachmann Main Building, and the Rocco Abessinio Building (RAB) on the college’s campus. The boxes will be available on campus from now through December 20th. The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce will accept donations at any point in the season at the Chamber Office in Springfield, PA as well as at Chamber events. The Chamber offices is located at: 1001 Baltimore Pike, Springfield, PA 19064.
The drives will end before the holidays and will then restart in the spring of 2017.
