EXPERIENCE

  • As Vice President of National Operations Support, provides support to AlliedBarton’s more than 120 regional and local offices nationwide in executing their business plans to achieve their financial and operational goals. Also provides leadership in driving strategic initiatives, transitioning acquisitions and large start-ups, as well as Operational and Human Capital Management projects.
  • As Midwest Region Vice President / General Manager lead all operational, financial and support functions for more than 20 AlliedBarton offices in 8 states (with more than 6,000 employees).
  • As VP, L&D, was responsible for all aspects of security officer and account manager training and development, utilizing traditional classroom training methods as well as with self-study guides, podcasts, web conferences and The AlliedBarton EDGE, which launched in January 2009 and provides the next generation of learning and development tools for AlliedBarton’s employees.

  • Authored “From Training Company to Learning Organization” in January 2010 issue of Training & Development magazine. This article chronicled AlliedBarton’s emphasis on the personal growth of its employees
  • Quoted in the June 2009 issue of Training magazine, “Head First”, which examined how employees process and utilize the vast amounts of information that come their way daily
  • Authored “Cross-Generational Training Is Not One Size Fits All” for July 2008 issue of Security Executive magazine addressing the training design and delivery challenges associated with a multi-generational workforce
  • Authored “The Human Factor” for Security Products magazine December 2007 issue, discussing the increased popularity and effectiveness of eLearning and the design of blended learning solutions for the security industry
