VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS SUPPORT
Rich Cordivari is Vice President, Operations Support for Allied Universal Security. In that role he supports Allied Universal’s 150 office nationwide in driving strategic initiatives, transitioning large start-ups and leading Allied Universal’s business retention initiatives. Rich is a frequent presenter to industry groups on topics including Workplace Violence, Active Shooter, Emergency Preparedness and Situational Awareness.
Rich joined Allied Universal in 2003 and since that time has served in roles including Vice President and General Manager; Vice President of Learning & Development; and Vice President of National Accounts. Prior to beginning his career in private security Rich was a Lieutenant in the Lower Merion Township Police Department.
Rich is the author of more than 20 articles on security officer training and development that have appeared in a variety of industry publications as well newspapers nationwide. His interviews and insights on fatal workplace violence incidents have been broadcast on over 200 radio stations nationwide.
Rich is a long time member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) International, as well as the Police Chiefs Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania. He also serves on the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) “Government Liaison” and “Emergency Preparedness” Committees.
Rich is a graduate of Cardinal O’Hara High School and Villanova University, a lifelong resident of Delaware County and has lived in Chester Heights Borough with his wife Vicki for over 25 years.
