Sean Rodgers is a person in long term recovery who has made it his mission to help his community through various organizations that promote hope and help those afflicted with substance use disorder/addiction to start their journey of recovery. He serves as the National Clinical Outreach Representative for The Ranch at Dove Tree in Lubbock, TX which is a premier treatment center in the country that is known for its evidence based approach and high rate of success. He volunteers as the Special Events coordinator of Young People in Recovery’s Philadelphia chapter which is a grass roots organization that has chapters around the country to advocate for recovery and help build recovery ready communities. He is one of the Co-Founders of the Springfield Cares Coalition in his hometown of Springfield Delaware County which is devoted to providing the community with education and information around the opioid epidemic. His role on this committee has even been instrumental in assisting the Springfield School Board with instituting education into the curriculum, specifically the health classes, about substance use disorders and mental health education to let student know that, “It is ok to ask for help!”. Sean is a member of the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce and in 2016 was recognized as the Delaware County Young Professional of the year for his accomplishments with in the county to help aid those in crisis and work with families to let others know that WE DO RECOVER and that there is HOPE!
