Objective:  Provide updates on changes in law, legislation, and enforcement of animal laws; understand updates on emotional support and comfort animals; and evaluating the enforcement and prosecution of animal cruelty cases.

Who is involved:  Neumann University Center of Leadership is pleased to partner with the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office, Brandywine Valley SPCA, the Humane Society of the United States, the Pennsylvania State Animal Rescue Team, and caring members of the community to discuss Animal Laws in our communities.

  • Discuss legislative updates and pending legislation by statewide legislators
  • Evaluate legal climate for prosecution and enforcement of Animal Cruelty under Act 10
  • Hear updates to caselaw and legislation impacting animal owners, communities and government
  • Get an understanding of the law as it relates to shelters, rescues and animal welfare centers throughout Pennsylvania
  • Updates on legal issues and requirements for service and comfort animals in the workplace, public and private venues.
