Attracting News Coverage Amid COVID-19 to Build Brand Awareness
With the current stay-at-home restrictions, more people than ever are tuning in to local news stations, cable news networks, online newspapers, and social media. The increases in viewership and readership represents a significant opportunity for small businesses and non-profits to raise awareness about their products, services, and community-based initiatives.
However, the way in which media outlets are covering the news has changed drastically during the COVID-19 pandemic. Companies and non-profits that can do effective storytelling while respecting social distancing are finding great success in this new world. This program will provide small business owners non-profit executives, and communicators with practical tips on how to formulate a media strategy that can attract the attention of reporters and newsrooms.
