Bob Simpson is the Founder and Managing partner of Brinker Simpson & Company. He has a varied background of entrepreneurial pursuits, and established the firm in 1989 when he decided he could simply do things better. He’s also owned retail businesses, entertainment and computer consulting firms. Bob has an extensive background in real estate investing, and shares his knowledge and experiences with his clients. He enjoys the world of small business, and is especially proud of the success of many companies he’s advised from start-up operations to 2nd and 3rd generations. Bob has also taught Entrepreneurial Courses at a local college, and consults on budgeting and finance issues with many local charities and non-profit groups. He has facilitated numerous educational seminars ranging from planning for education costs to real estate investing to strategic planning for privately held companies. He’s been a guest commentator on many radio programs, and government panels.

Rick Grimaldi is a partner in the Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. offices of Fisher Phillips, a national labor and employment law firm. Rick takes a practical approach to solving workplace challenges with his clients which is a natural outgrowth of his experience leading an Employee Relations team as Director of Labor Relations for a large international technology company, and his experience serving the citizens of Pennsylvania as Deputy General Counsel to Governor Tom Ridge and Chief Counsel of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. He has long achieved positive results for his clients in major discrimination litigation, union campaigns, collective bargaining and arbitrations. Most importantly, Rick partners with his clients to help them achieve their workplace goals by combining sound practical strategic advice with an understanding that business decisions are never made in a vacuum.

As a co-principal of Fisher Phillips Government Relations subsidiary, FP Advocacy, Rick is also on the front lines of advocating before state and local legislative bodies to develop laws and policies that allow employers to thrive while addressing workplace concerns.

Lori is an experienced labor and employment lawyer and a partner in the firm’s Philadelphia and Princeton offices. A seasoned and dynamic litigator with a strong background in traditional labor, Lori also has an Executive MBA, giving her unique insight into the interplay between the legal and business issues employers face. Lori’s philosophy is that proactively helping employers be the best they can be not only limits potential legal risks but also results in an engaged workforce, which in turn leads to greater profitability and success for the employer. A frequent author and speaker, Lori regularly provides preventive counseling and training for executives, supervisors and employees. She also serves as an adjunct professor at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law where she teaches Employment Discrimination Law and as a mediator in the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Alternative Dispute Resolution program.

Alex Styer brings a diverse background and skillset that allows him to operate seamlessly in both the traditional and digital media landscapes. Alex runs several major accounts for Bellevue, writing internal and external communications and securing feature news coverage for Bellevue clients. As Director of Digital Media, he is responsible for developing strategies that utilize non-traditional digital avenues to reach and engage with new audiences, as well as providing graphic design, photography, audio/video production, web design, and other digital media services for clients. Alex also oversees Bellevue’s college internship program. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Industry Studies from Drexel University’s Westphal College of Media Arts & Design.

As Account Executive and Digital Media Manager, London helps to lead social media and general digital media efforts for Bellevue. Her responsibilities include media relations, social media strategy and account management, digital marketing, and online content creation. Also among her capabilities are graphic design, media buying, video production, and website design. London is an active member of the Philadelphia Public Relations Association, serving as President-Elect of the professional organization. London holds a Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in General Business Studies from Temple University. She has since also obtained a certificate in Digital Advertising.

Mike Neilon, Vice President, Media Relations, Bellevue Communications Group

Mike Neilon is a seasoned broadcast journalist and news decision-maker with decades of experience behind-the-scenes at “6ABC Action News”. As Vice president of Media relations, Mike is responsible for guiding the firm’s messaging efforts across all clients to produce newsworthy story placements throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. Before joining Bellevue Communications, Neilon spent nearly 20 years with local ABC affiliate WPVI-TV, working with producers, reporters, photographers, and news executives to arrange and execute all local news coverage. Mike helped to spearhead 6ABC’s extensive and exclusive coverage of major news events in the region, including the Jerry Sandusky scandal at Penn State, the 2015 Amtrak train derailment in Philadelphia, and the Center City building collapse at 22nd and Market Streets.
