Neumann University students coordinated a donation of 2500 Wardrobes for Work clothing items to Catholic Social Services through the NU Center for Leadership. This effort was coordinated for the National Association of Social Workers ‘Social Work’ Month. Aligning with this year ’s theme, ‘Elevate Social Work’ students worked to empower others and connect with the community. Shown are Dr. Domes, University President, Danielle McNichol, Esq., General Counsel and Director of the Center for Leadership, and NU students – Bridget Lozier, Stephanie Vogleman, Liam Ruddy, Eric Vigiles, and Andrew Wibraham.
The Center for Leadership is most grateful to these students and to the many generous donors to Wardrobes for Work. This month, large donations were sent by the Girls Scouts of Service Unit 510 (Rose Tree Media and Wallingford-Swarthmore School Districts) and were organized by Troop 5073 (Indian Lane Elementary) who collected clothing donations at their Daddy – Daughter dance in February and donated them to Wardrobes for Work. Thank you to all involved who worked to make this happen!
