The program held by the Center for Leadership at Neumann University on Wednesday, December 6th consisted of a panel of professionals in legal and philanthropic fields presenting their expert insights on recent trends in trusts, charitable and online giving. Danielle McNichol, Esq., Director of the Center for Leadership and General Counsel led the program. Panelists included Patrick Morgan, Philadelphia Program Director of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, Frances M.Sheehan, President of Crozer-Keystone Community Foundation, Richard L. Fox, Esq. shareholder at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC, and Joshua D. Headley, Esq. associate at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC. A question and answer period led by Alex Styer of Bellevue Communications gave attendees an opportunity to discuss specific topics with presenters.
Attendees gained a better understanding of recent trends in trusts, charitable and online giving, grants and funding, and EITC. These insights can be used by professionals who work in many organizational capacities such as development, finance, human resources, and leadership. In addition, participants learned about how funding and philanthropy can support their organization’s mission, vision, values, and objectives.
