Neumann University Center for Leadership provides free professional/casual business attire to individuals entering or re-entering the workforce
ASTON, PA – On Thursday, February 27, Neumann University’s Center for Leadership will host their semi-annual Wardrobes for Work Open House. Any local residents in need are more than welcomed to receive workplace suitable clothing. Options vary from men’s and women’s gently used business casual attire or business suits which are all free of charge. The open house will take place on the second floor of the Rocco A. Abessinio Building on the campus of Neumann University (1 Neumann Drive, Aston, PA 19014) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“We like to provide them with an entire outfit, so they have the opportunity to feel comfortable when they go in for that internship or job interview,” said Danielle McNichol, General Counsel of Neumann University and Director of the Neumann Center for Leadership. “Wardrobes for Work has helped thousands of career seekers find the confidence they need to land a new job. We are so grateful to our supporters and donators that make this program possible.”
The Wardrobes for Work program was initiated in 2016 by Neumann University’s Center for Leadership. Wardrobes for Work has collected more than 175,000 articles of clothing through donations and distributed more than 150,000 articles to career seekers. The program highly encourages that anyone in the community that needs formal attire should show up to obtain them free of charge.
Neumann University is easily accessible by SEPTA and the campus is a stop on the 114 Bus Route. To plan your trip via public transit, please visit www.septa.org/m/maps/trip.html.
