Pat Biswanger is general counsel for the Brandywine Valley SPCA. She got her BA from the University of Pennsylvania, and then graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she served as Executive Editor of The University of Pennsylvania Law Review. As general counsel to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, Pat handles numerous and varied projects, including employment matters, real estate issues, and cost-of-care petitions. Pat also serves as assistant solicitor to Delaware County, again handling numerous and varied assignments, most of them litigation. Since 2006, Pat has taught Evidence in the Masters in Forensic Medicine program at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is also active in the community, serving on the board of the ARC of Chester County, which provides services to children with autism and other developmental delays. Pat has an extensive background in animal rescue, having worked with several rescues and having fostered countless dogs. The role which Pat enjoys most, however, is being a grandmother to four wonderful little girls, ages 2 through 5, and she is absolutely shameless about bragging about them.
